POJ System

Ghost-ping new members in key channels to grab their attention and guide them to important areas of your server.

What is POJ?

POJ (Ping On Join) automatically mentions new members in specified channels when they join your server, then instantly deletes the message. This creates a ghost-ping notification that directs new members to important channels like rules, roles, or introductions — without cluttering the chat.

How It Works

  • 1A new member joins your server
  • 2Sorea sends a mention in your configured channels
  • 3The message is instantly deleted, leaving a ghost-ping notification
  • 4The new member sees the notification and checks out the channel

Setup

You need Manage Server permission to configure POJ.

Add channels to the POJ list using the commands below. You can add multiple channels so new members get notified in several places at once.

Commands

CommandDescription
/poj addAdd a channel to the POJ list
/poj removeRemove a channel from the POJ list
/poj listView all channels in the POJ list
/poj clearRemove all channels from the POJ list

Tips

  • Add your rules channel so new members see it immediately
  • Add a self-roles channel to encourage members to pick their roles
  • Don't add too many channels — 2-3 is usually the sweet spot
  • Works great combined with Custom Greetings for a complete onboarding flow
